The Confession

Some of you may have noticed in that video of the McCormick Congressional Debate that I confessed to an uncomfortable truth. I said that I had voted for Jimmy Carter in 1980. Mike, you might be asking yourself, why would a good Republican like you have voted for Jimmy Carter of all people? Well, I've got something to confess about that. Until three years ago, I was a Democrat. I'm not going to lie about it, I'm not going to try to hide the fact that I was on the other side of the aisle not that long ago. However, we all need to remember that Ronald Reagan was also a Democrat at one point.

McCormick GOP Debate

The McCormick GOP Debate went well. Dr. Vasovski definitely got his message out to the people of McCormick. Video is available on U-stream, courtesy of the McCormick County GOP, who did the recording.

New section of the website

I've added a "Speeches" section to the website. We'll be uploading the notes for all of Dr. Vasovski's big speeches to the site at least a day beforehand.

Edit: Essays have been rearranged into one area of the site for convenience.

Paper or Plastic?

I am into the 28th year of a medical career as a general practice physician. Over those years it has become apparent that anxiety is a primary source of much that ails many of the patients and if not the sole source of their misery, it certainly contributes to and makes minor non-emotional problems seem to those who are suffering, like more than what they really are. At the end of any given day there are many prescriptions written for anti-anxiety medications like Xanax, alprazolam, Clonopin, buspirone, paroxetine and countless others.

Populism is not Communism

Memo to Media: Populism is a rebellion against corporate power--It's not just stupid, raw anger.

No Patriot Left Behind

We are all reasonably aware of what the No Child Left Behind Act is and aspires to accomplish. Beyond the issue of Federal supervision and involvement with public school K-12 education, let's look at the concept of trying to ensure that as many people interested in promoting the cause of liberty as possible, are indeed, not left behind. If a group of people committed to growing an organization devoted to furthering their cause does not keep this in mind, they will fail to grow as rapidly as possible or worse loose those who can't grasp new ideas readily.
